2005 Giller Prize: Short-List
The prestigious Canadian Giller Prize short-list was announced this week. As you probably know, the Giller Prize was established in 1994 to honour excellence in Canadian fiction (long format or short stories). Past winners include Margaret Atwood, Alice Munro and Rohinton Mistry.
And the finalists are:
• Joan Barfoot for her novel Luck
• David Bergen for his novel The Time In Between
• Camilla Gibb for her novel Sweetness in the Belly
• Lisa Moore for her novel Alligator
• Edeet Ravel for her novel A Wall of Light
